During 9 to 15 September, the THNIC Academy and Thailand UA Local Initiative organized an online event, “Github Pull Request Hackathon: .ไทย Universal Acceptance”, for Thai developers, academics and interested parties who selected GitHub repositories and modified them to be UA-Ready. 

A total of 38 pull requests were submitted and verified by well-known committee members, Warat Wongmaneekit, Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer at Wisesight; Jirawat Karanwittayakarn, Technology Evangelist at LINE Thailand, and Somkiat Puisungnoen, owner of Siam Chamnankit. Of the 38 requests, one request was accepted for merging to the base repository.

The winner with the highest score from valid pull requests is announced at https://github.com/kiznick.
